The Hifz program requires full commitment and focus by students. Although most of the work will be done in class, students and parents need to commit to making a full-time effort outside of class to see improvement. We pray that Allah grants all of us Tawfiq in our efforts to make this program a success.
STUDENT & TEACHER CONDUCT / AKHLAQ
The ISCNY Hifz Program aspires not only to provide quality Islamic education but is also obligated to promote and maintain a high standard of personal conduct. The program is not only a place of learning concepts and skills, but also a place to learn Islamic Akhlaq (manners) and practice it in our daily lives. Students are expected to enhance the image and reputation of the program and masjid by observing high standards of Islamic Akhlaq and exemplary behavior. Parents must assume the responsibility to reinforce these values at home. Teachers are also required to emphasize and demonstrate Islamic Akhlaq during school hours and in their daily lives. The Hifz program has adopted these policies and procedures, which will be implemented to ensure a safe and pleasant learning and working environment for students and teachers.
All participants must adhere to the strict rules of adhab/behavior when engaging fellow students, teachers or program coordinators. Students that do not comply with the rules (regardless of age) will be asked to leave the Hifz program.
