AMANAH: FAMILY AND MARRIAGE IN ISLAM

Sunday | February 11 | 5:30 p.m. | Discussion: Imam Mohammed ElFiki

Whoever wants to increase his rizq and live a long life should honor ties with his relatives.
– Sahih Al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim

Indeed, Allah commands you to render amanah [trusts] to whom they are due and when you judge between people to judge with justice. Excellent is that which Allah instructs you. Indeed, Allah is ever Hearing and Seeing. An-Nisa 4:58

Join Imam Mohammed ElFiki, Sunday, February 11, 5:30 p.m. in the ISCNY community room, for a talk and community discussion about key tools in creating healthy relationships with our family, spouses, and children. Marriage and family life in Islam, its foundations, structure, and principles occupy a very important position in Muslim individual and community life.  Islam places a great importance on family relations and unity. Learning about your deen (faith), righteous actions, character building, helping each other and communication will all be discussed as important parts of creating and maintaining amanah in all our relationships.
